| The fiqure bubinga was choosen to simulate the currents in the ocean. The inlay has the look of sea grass in the current. The pulls were designed to allow both inlays in the doors to continue uninterrupted. The top is also bubinga for viewing from the stairway. | Small downward sloped openings were designed into both sides to allow for cross ventilation in the fan cooled canopy. |

| The top of the tank is accessed through the front door for the day to day feeding and maintenance. | For full access to the top of the tank the canopy opens completely. The unobstructed access to the top facilitates major maintenance, light changes, wiring and large coral placements. The inside of the canopy was finished with a marine grade two part epoxy (wooden boat finish) for the ultimate in waterproofing and protection. |
